The CROUS of Poitiers offers six university residences on the La Rochelle campus that allow you to live at an affordable price.
CROUS accommodation is reserved primarily for French government scholarship students. In the first semester, there are no places available for students who do not meet the scholarship criteria. However, it is possible to apply for a CROUS accommodation in the second semester, even without a scholarship, as there are some vacancies at that time.

La Rochelle Youth Hostel

Ideally located in relation to Excelia, the Youth Hostel can be a temporary accommodation solution for you. Excelia students benefit from negotiated rates, so make sure to present your student card or enrolment certificate. Note that the hostel can be very busy in the summer and September.

CROUS

The CROUS of Cachan prioritises students who receive the French government scholarship. However, from the second semester, starting from January/February, CROUS will consider applications from non-scholarship students as well as international students.
Social Landlords
To benefit from social housing, you must meet certain criteria for allocation, particularly regarding income.
There is only one application form for all social landlords in the relevant department.
